Founded in 1975, Washington Project for the Arts is a platform for artist-organized research and cultural production.
Having adopted a new mission and programming model several years ago, WPA hopes to develop a facility plan that reflects where the organization is going rather than where it has been. This will involve thinking deeply about our geographic proximity and/or accessibility to the communities we serve, but it will also involve thinking about how the form of our facility/space reflects who we are and the types of communities we strive create and support.
