Arts Market Survey - Aurora, Colorado

The Aurora Cultural Arts District (ACAD) has contracted with Artspace, a national nonprofit leader in the field of affordable creative space development, to help our community better understand the space needs of local artists and creatives. The city of Aurora is a partner in this initiative and survey project funding is provided by the Gates Family Foundation.

If you consider your work to be a form of art, craft, cultural, creative expression or heritage preservation, then we probably will too. A practicing member of the creative sector:

• Has a sincere commitment to their creative-based work
• May or may not make any income from their creative-based work or pursue it full time
• Has or is developing a body of work or is actively training or working in their field
• May be engaged in any creative field(s) (e.g., culinary, visual, functional, digital, performing, cultural, literary, education, musical, administrative, and so on)
• Comes from any and all walk of life
