In partnership with the El Paso Community Foundation and the City of El Paso, Artspace transformed what was a vacant lot in downtown El Paso into Roderick Artspace Lofts, an arts destination animated by artists and creative businesses. The mixed-use development boasts 51 units of affordable live/work space for creatives and their families, a large gallery, community space, and commercial space for arts-friendly businesses and nonprofit organizations. The building stands as an example of tapping into local arts communities to spur economic development, foster job creation, and create a greater, more unique sense of place.
